This damaged cowling was found nearly 100 feet west of the firewall.
The mystery: It belongs to a North American B-25 Mitchell!
Mystery Solved: The cowling belongs to TB-25J 44-30007, which
crashed on 17 November 1947, killing all on board. The two
airplanes crashed in nearly the same spot, under similar circumstances.
